Personal Profile
I've had the privilege of working as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma for over 20 years. I'm an active member in education as evidenced by being an adjunct instructor at Randall University in Moore, OK in 2024 and 2025. I taught classes in both Child and Adolescent Psychology as well as Careers in Psychology.
I am the humble recipient of the Servant Leadership Award in 2025 through Westminster Presbyterian Church. I serve as a Sunday School teacher for the forth and fifth graders, a member of the Youth Leadership Committee. I am also a Deacon in my second term there.
I believe that we are meant to share our struggle with others and in so doing we deepen our love and connection with one another. We have a chance to heal when we embrace our struggles and are extended grace and support. And I believe with all that I am that we are "Always Already Loved." and we are "Always Already Forgiven."
If you would like to see more about my pickleball journey you can see me on the CEU workshop page. I was thrilled to have accomplished one of my life goals of winning a medal in the World Pickleball Championship at the Jenius World Cup in November 2025. The community, struggle with growth and physical connection to wellness have been what continues to inspire me to play and teach others as a Level One Instructor through IPTPA.
Much of my professional experience as a therapist has been in inpatient care at hospitals that have both acute and residential care. I have been in the position of a lead therapist, Clinical Director and now a self-employed business owner.
